A third season for this collaboration between Caulaincourt and Abensia.

The concept.

Among the pieces already born from this collaboration, Alexis’s double-breasted flannel jacket held a special place. Here is its summer version.

Same principle: we open the wardrobe of Alexis Lafont, founder of Caulaincourt, and offer it in pre-order, once again made with Cyril Boitet and his house Abensia (made-to-measure clothing, Paris).

This time in tennis stripe on a navy or beige ground, cut for the warm season.

The piece.

All the work is in a disconcerting lightness. An unstructured construction, worn almost like a shirt. But a true tailored jacket in the detail: Neapolitan shoulder, hand-stitched milanese buttonhole, working buttonholes. The kind of piece that takes on a patina over time, and that you recognise from across the room.

Two options at order.

• In standard sizes (€645 incl. VAT) — the jacket is sent to you in the size of your choice, exchangeable if it does not fit.
• Made-to-measure option (+€100 incl. VAT) — you order in the size closest to yours, then we get back to you by email to refine. We send you a measurement chart, you return it filled in, and we launch production to your measurements.

A jacket can always be altered by a tailor — do not hesitate, above all, to go for the MTM option if you want to save time on adjustments.
